Troubleshoot a task sync

Resolve authorization, database schema, missing-list, and delayed-sync problems.

Account needs to be relinked

  1. Open the dashboard and locate the affected integration.
  2. Choose the relink action and complete the provider authorization flow.
  3. Return to the sync group and run a manual sync.
  4. Review the activity log for any remaining issue.

Notion database is incompatible

  • Confirm Name is a Title property.
  • Confirm Status is a Status property with states named To Do and Done.
  • Confirm Due is a Date property, even if some tasks do not have a deadline.
  • Make sure the TaskAcross Notion integration still has access to the database.

Tasks are delayed or missing

  • Check when the sync group last ran.
  • Confirm the correct database and task list are paired.
  • Look for a failed operation in the activity log.
  • Check that another automation is not editing the same tasks.
  • Run a manual sync after resolving the underlying issue.
