Does Notion Integrate with Google Tasks?
Understand the difference between native connections, one-way automations, and true two-way synchronization for Notion and Google Tasks.

The short answer
Notion and Google Tasks do not offer a native, full two-way integration with each other. Connecting them requires a third-party sync product, a general automation platform, or custom code.
Three ways to connect the apps
- Dedicated sync service: configured around paired task records and ongoing changes in both directions.
- Automation platform: separate triggers and actions built in a tool such as Zapier or Make.
- Custom integration: code using the Notion and Google Tasks APIs, plus hosting, authentication, retries, and monitoring.
One-way automation versus two-way sync
A one-way recipe might create a Google Task when a Notion item is added. That does not necessarily mean later edits flow across or that a Google Task created on mobile appears in Notion.
A two-way sync maintains a relationship between the records. Before choosing a product, check whether creation, editing, completion, deletion, due dates, and duplicate prevention work in each direction.
Questions to ask before choosing a solution
- Which fields are supported?
- Can changes originate in either app?
- How are duplicates and conflicting edits handled?
- How frequently does the sync run?
- What data does the provider store?
- Can you connect multiple lists, databases, or accounts?
- Is there an activity log when something fails?
When TaskAcross is a fit
TaskAcross is designed for people who want Notion database tasks connected with Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do without maintaining individual automation recipes. It supports two-way updates for task titles, completion status, and due dates, with manual and scheduled sync options.
